After one too many road trips where our kids melted down because we stopped in the wrong place at the wrong time, the question became obvious: why can nothing find a playground along a highway route?

Google Maps does not filter for parks. Roadtrippers is not built for families. So we built SmartStops instead — it finds towns with real parks every two hours along the way.

Launched August 2025. Rebuilt from scratch by October after the first version got the feedback it deserved. Now used by thousands of families.

Coordinating care for an aging parent with your siblings is brutal. We watched our own family do it: endless group texts, the same “what is happening?” question every week, and the work landing on whoever lived closest.
